Reading the numbers
TSER and TIRR, in plain terms
TSER
Total solar energy rejected measures how much of the solar spectrum is blocked by the film and glass, plus any absorbed heat the film re-radiates into the cabin.
TIRR
Total infrared rejection measures how much infrared heat the film blocks. It is calculated over the 780 to 2500 nm range, aligned with the IWFA.
How it is measured
Data is captured using NFRC guidelines and calculated for single pane, quarter inch clear glass, using representative product.
